Inter-House Ashara Mubaraka Quiz Competition:
MSB Nagpur-2020
With the aim and vision of contemplating on the Mawaaiz Nooraniyah of Aqa Moula TUS, MSB Nagpur conducted an Inter-House Ashara Mubaraka quiz competition.
On 12thMarch 2020, the Dua Hall of MSB Nagpur, was filled with enthusiasm and anticipation as students from std. 4th-10th had gathered to witness the spectacular event of knowledge and wisdom. Students came to support their teams with excitement and exuberance.
Participants, representing the four houses i.e. Red, Green, Blue and Yellow, stepped forward to take their seats. The audience applauded and cheered for their team with passion and vigour.
The central theme of the quiz was 5 senses. Out of these, 4 senses were selected to conduct the rounds.
ROUND 1 – Vision
To enhance and analyze visionary skills, questions were displayed on the screen. Each team was provided with individual handsets. The students had to look at the questions on the screen and select the right option displayed on their respective handset, within the limited time.
ROUND 2- Sound
To enhance and analyze auditory skills, audios of different conversations related to Ashara Mubaraka were played, and each team had to listen to these audios, observe the topics and answer the questions that followed.
ROUND 3 –Taste
Rapid Fire
Tongue regulates taste. To enhance Zauq e Salim and spiritual taste through wisdom and Ilm e Aale Mohammed, the rapid fire round was conducted. It enabled the students to deliver words of wisdom, developing a divine taste. They answered the questions related to Ashara Mubaraka Mawaaiz, within the limited time.
ROUND 4 – Touch
The Puzzle Round
Different pieces of puzzles were placed in a box. Each team had to pick a piece, place it in the right place on the board in order to complete the puzzle. Puzzles were made on the topics and sub topics of Wasaaya of Ameerul Mumineen AS addressed to Imam Hasan AS.
Furthermore, to stimulate a sense of touch each team had to put the impression of their finger print on the puzzle pieces that they had placed on the board to complete the puzzle. Evaluation of points was done on the basis of these finger prints.
Finally, the event concluded by the announcement of winning team i.e. Green House. The winners, runner ups and participants were felicitated with prizes and participation certificates.
The aim of this initiative was fulfilled. Each student had incorporated and imbibed Syedna’s directives, teachings and the knowledge that he imparted in his Mawaaiz Nooraniyah. This has motivated them to lead a great and virtuous life, developing into a revered and charismatic personality.
