Pottery Day- Field Trip
Students of Pre – First A & B were surprised by a professional ‘Potter’ coming to school. They were elated to see the set up. They were given the opportunity to make small pots on their own under the potter’s guidance. They saw how the terracotta clay was kneaded, rolled and then shaped on a wheel machine. Each child got a kulhad to take home.
Pottery can help improve a child’s fine motor skills, express their creativity, problem-solving abilities and spatial awareness.
