First Aid Training:
Saifee Ambulance Nasik conducted a First Aid training session in MSB Nasik for students of std 8, 9 and 10. Students were given practical training on basic first aid for fractures, dressing – slings and different rescue positions were explained.
CPR - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was explained in detail and its procedure was demonstrated. The three main areas that affect the oxygen reaching the brain - airway, breathing and circulation were explained.
Mouth-to-mouth VENTILATION to help keep up the level of oxygen in a casualty to reach the brain and other vital organs was also demonstrated.
Lastly Saifee Ambulance Members gave a short presentation on the various types of lifts to carry an injured person.
The session was lively and enriching for the staff as well as the students.
